A ten-week journey back into your body.
Stop treating your body as something to fix and start treating it as somewhere to live.
EMBODY is a ten-week body image program for individuals who are exhausted by the pressure to fix, shrink, monitor, or apologize for their bodies.
This program offers a structured method for understanding body distress, reducing shame and avoidance, and building a more compassionate relationship with the body they live in.

The aim is not to feel good about your body every day. It is to lose fewer days to feeling bad about it.
If body image is taking up more room than anyone can see
-
A mirror, a photograph, or a passing comment can decide the whole day.
-
Reassurance never lasts, and still you check, compare, and adjust.
-
Capable everywhere else in life, and strangely powerless about this.
-
Waiting to feel better before the photo, the swim, the being seen.
-
Finished with dieting — but the vigilance did not leave with the rules.
-
Your body changed, and “just love yourself” leaves no room for the grief.

Common questions
Is this therapy?
No. EMBODY is an educational and experiential program, not psychotherapy or eating disorder treatment. You take part as a member of a group, not as a patient. As such, this program is not billed or receipted as a health service. My clinical practice exists separately for people who need treatment.
Do I need a diagnosis or a referral?
No. EMBODY is open to people who recognize themselves in the concerns the program addresses. You do not need a diagnosis or referral, and you do not need to prove that your struggle is “serious enough” to deserve support.
What if I am in eating disorder territory?
EMBODY is a body image program, not eating disorder treatment. If you are experiencing eating disorder symptoms or need more individualized support, please reach out about individual care. I can help you consider what kind of support may be more appropriate and, when needed, offer referral options.
When does it start, and what does it cost?
The first cohort is currently forming. Dates, format, and pricing will be shared with the waitlist before they are announced elsewhere. Joining the waitlist is free and comes with no obligation to enroll.
