Some things are easier in company.

I run small, structured groups for people going through similar challenges.

What becomes possible in a group

A community, not an audience

A small, consistent group of people facing similar concerns, who often understand what you mean before you have found all the words.

Somewhere to practice

Skills can be easier to understand than to use. A group gives you a supportive place to try new ways of responding before bringing them into the rest of your life.

Seeing it from outside

Sometimes it is easier to recognize a pattern in someone else first, and then begin to see it more clearly in yourself.

Structured, not open-ended

Each group has a defined focus and a set number of sessions, so you know what the work involves and what you are committing to.

Generalized anxietyWhen worry follows you everywhere

A skills-based group for minds that are always scanning, planning, and trying to prevent the next bad outcome.

  • Working with chronic worry and uncertainty
  • Noticing how anxiety narrows your life
  • Building steadier responses to the unknown
Social anxietyLess rehearsal, more room to be yourself

For self-consciousness, avoidance, fear of judgment, and the exhausting work of trying to get every interaction right.

  • Understanding the cycle of anticipation and avoidance
  • Practicing self-compassion in social moments
  • Creating more room for connection
Body imageMore space to live, less time at war with your body

For the emotional, relational, and practical cost of body image distress, comparison, and the feeling of being watched.

  • Untangling worth from appearance
  • Responding to comparison and body checking
  • Moving toward a more values-aligned life
The inner criticMeeting perfectionism with more understanding

An emotion-focused group for understanding what the inner critic is trying to prevent, and building a different relationship with pressure, shame, and self-attack.

  • Recognizing the protective logic of perfectionism
  • Working with shame and fear of failure
  • Developing a steadier inner voice

Group therapy can be a meaningful form of treatment on its own or alongside individual therapy. Some people choose one, while others find that the two complement each other.

Common questions

When will groups begin?

Groups begin once there is enough interest to form a strong, well-matched cohort. Because groups are intentionally kept small, space will be limited and waitlist members will be contacted first. Joining the waitlist is free and does not require you to commit.

What happens after I join the waitlist?

I will contact you when the group you selected is close to starting. Before it begins, we will have a brief conversation to make sure the group feels like a good fit. You are free to decline at any point.

Will groups be online or in person?

The format will be confirmed before each group begins. It may depend on the needs and locations of the people interested, and thus a virtual group will be more likely and feasible. Waitlist members will receive those details first.

How many people will be in each group?

Groups will be kept small enough for each person to participate and feel known, while still offering the benefit of learning from others.

Will I have to speak in front of everyone?

You will not be pressured to share before you are ready. The groups are structured and participation can build gradually. Listening is also a valid way to begin.

Is the group confidential?

Yes, with some caveats. Confidentiality is an essential part of group therapy. Before the group begins, we review clear expectations about protecting one another’s privacy and not sharing identifying information outside the group. While every member is asked to uphold these expectations, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in the same way it can in individual therapy.

Do I need to be a current client?

No. Groups are open to people who are not already working with me individually. We will have a brief conversation beforehand to confirm that the group is appropriate for your needs.

Can I attend group therapy while seeing an individual therapist?

Yes. Group therapy can be used on its own or alongside individual therapy, whether you are working with me or another therapist.

How much will a group cost?

Each group will have a set number of sessions and a clearly stated fee. You will receive all details before deciding whether to join.

What if none of the current groups fits what I need?

You can share what you are looking for through the contact page. The current groups are a starting point, and your feedback helps shape future offerings.
